Just got back from Goa – i think there should be some sort of lawsuit against speedo for selling suits to people who should not be wearing them…
first nite we were in north Goa in Calangute – wow, what a difference from the last time i came. the last time i came was in Feb 2004 and it was really mellow without many tourists at all. This time the streets were crowded with REALLY overweight europeans wearing florecent speedos and scamming vendors. Prices for everything were totally jacked too. so the second night we went to Palolem in South Goa which was far cooler and with an incredible beach but also full of tourists but totally different tourists – these ones were completely hippie and all of the girls wearing bikinis here were smokin – i felt like i was in the movie the beach – didn’t feel like India at all. even the indians that were here were hippie – pretty much everyone looked stoned all the time… too funny…
