So it seems that my mother’s advice wasn’t based on old superstitious mumbo jumbo…

According to this article, eating fish can actually help your brain because of the omega-3 fatty acids – Fishy stuff. So the question becomes, will the rate at which the omega-3 acids help your brain be slower or faster than the rate at which the mercury levels may kill you?

There’s a Web 2.0 service that someone should create – a simple to use tool which clearly indicates the benefits and detriments of different foods, but the key is that it has to update whenever there is new research available. I’d definitely fund that. hell – add in the nutrition guide for each of them too – man, you know hard it currently is to find out the amount of calories, protein, and carbs in a mango, let alone a fillet of salmon? Anyone know of anything out there?
