Wow! what a place! Havana is definitely not what I expected – all the stereotypes and feedback from the news is not a good measure to judge the city (not too sure about the rest of the country…). Havana is clean (relative to other developing countries), well- maintained, and dare I say, funky? No matter where you go, there is music playing, an abundance of art and culture, and in general, people enjoying life. A great night life too – a bit surprising to meet so many people from the states there. Casa de la musica… whada place!
